Brake Diagnosis
Complete automotive brake repair and service is performed on all areas of the car brake system. Routine brake pad or shoe replacement to detailed ABS (antilock brake system) fault diagnosis and repair is performed to bring the brake system back to factory standards. We have the knowledge and experience to diagnose the brake complaint and perform the needed auto repair.
Brake Tooling
Using factory and aftermarket automotive scan tools allows us to perform full brake flushes in the brake system including the antilock or ABS units. This procedure is required whenever a major brake component is repaired or replaced to assure top brake performance. Scan tools, lab scopes, meters all play a part in the electrical diagnosis of ABS brake faults. Codes are generated in the vehicles computers and must be retrieved for accurate brake and ABS diagnosis and repairs. Checking and testing sensors, actuators, relays, etc, all require the electrical knowledge and training for a successful repair.
Brake Fluid Information
Brake fluid is hydroscopic by nature, meaning it will absorb moisture. When this happens the boiling point of the brake fluid is reduced and so is brake performance. It is recommended that the brake fluid be changed every 30,000 miles or 3 years and even sooner under severe conditions. The ability to stop safely must take the highest priority in maintaining your auto, truck or van; you and your passenger’s lives depend on it.
